1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vedune, including the website, AI tools, dashboards, subscription features and other services made available through vedune.in ("Vedune", "we", "us" or "our").
By creating an account, accessing Vedune or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use Vedune.
2. What Vedune Provides
Vedune is an AI-powered productivity and learning workspace. Its current tools include AI Chat, Student Tools, Business Tools, AI Writer, Creator Tools, Image AI, Resume Builder and PDF Tools.
Some tools are marked as in development (currently Live Lecture and Business Automation). Those tools, or parts of them, may be incomplete, change frequently or become available later, and you should not rely on them until they are released.
Features may vary by plan, account type, availability, region or technical limitations. We may improve, replace, add or remove features as the service evolves.
3. Accounts and Account Security
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless the activity resulted from circumstances beyond your reasonable control.
When you create an account with an email address and password, you may be asked to confirm your email address before signing in, and your password must be at least 8 characters long. You may also sign in with a third-party provider such as Google where offered.
You must not sell, transfer, misuse or provide unauthorized access to your Vedune account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at hello@vedune.in, or report it through Settings > Support in the app.
4. Users Under 18
Vedune may be used by students, including younger users. If you are under 18, you should use Vedune only with the involvement, permission or consent of a parent or lawful guardian where required by applicable law.
Parents or lawful guardians who permit a minor to use Vedune are responsible for supervising that use and for ensuring that the use is appropriate for the minor.
5. AI-Generated Content
Vedune uses artificial intelligence systems to generate responses, explanations, summaries, images, suggestions, study material and other content. The specific AI model used for a request may vary by plan, feature and availability.
AI-generated output may sometimes be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or inappropriate for your specific situation. You should review important output before relying on it.
Vedune does not guarantee that AI-generated information will always be correct, complete or error-free.
6. Educational and Professional Information
Vedune is designed to assist with learning, productivity and general information. Content provided through Vedune is not a substitute for qualified professional advice.
Legal, medical, financial, tax, investment or other high-impact information should be independently verified and, where appropriate, reviewed with a qualified professional before decisions are made.
Study tools, exam-preparation material and generated answers are intended to support learning and do not guarantee exam results, grades, admissions, employment or any other outcome.
7. Your Content
You may provide prompts, text, documents, images, reference photos, files or other material to Vedune ("User Content"). You remain responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights or permission necessary to submit and use it.
You must not upload content that unlawfully infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights. In particular, only upload a photo of another person, including as an Image AI reference photo, if you have that person's permission.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable Use
You must use Vedune lawfully and responsibly.
You must not use Vedune to:
- violate applicable laws, regulations or another person's rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to Vedune, accounts, systems or infrastructure;
- interfere with, overload, damage or disrupt the service;
- bypass subscription restrictions, usage limits, security measures or technical safeguards;
- distribute malicious software, harmful code, spam or fraudulent content;
- use stolen payment methods, fake identities or fraudulent transactions;
- impersonate another person or falsely represent your affiliation with another person or organization;
- create misleading manipulated images or media of real people without their permission;
- use Vedune in a way that creates unreasonable risk to other users, Vedune or third parties.
9. Subscriptions and Usage Limits
Some Vedune features require a paid subscription. Vedune currently offers Starter (₹49), Basic (₹99), Pro (₹199) and Premium (₹399) plans. Each plan may include different usage limits, tools, features or access levels, as shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
Usage limits may be measured daily (for example chat and AI-tool usage), monthly (for example image generation), per billing cycle or according to another limit shown in the product or pricing information.
Unused limits or credits do not automatically carry forward unless Vedune expressly states otherwise.
We may revise plan features, limits or pricing for future billing periods. Where required, material changes affecting an active paid subscription will be communicated appropriately.
10. Payments and Billing
Payments for Vedune subscriptions may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Razorpay.
Vedune does not require you to provide payment instrument credentials directly to Vedune where those credentials are collected and processed by the payment provider.
The price shown at purchase is the amount charged for that subscription, and taxes, if applicable, are handled in accordance with applicable law and the information shown during purchase.
You are responsible for ensuring that your payment information and billing authorization are valid.
11. Recurring Subscriptions and Cancellation
Where a subscription is recurring, it may continue to renew until cancelled in accordance with the available cancellation process.
Cancelling a subscription generally prevents future renewals. Access to paid features may continue until the end of the applicable paid billing period unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation and refund eligibility are governed by our separate Cancellation and Refund Policy.
12. Refunds
Refunds are not automatically provided merely because a user stops using Vedune or cancels a subscription.
Refunds may be considered in circumstances described in our Cancellation and Refund Policy, including certain billing, activation or service-delivery issues and where required by applicable law.
13. Beta and Experimental Features
Vedune may make beta, preview, experimental or early-access features available from time to time, and some tools may be marked as in development.
These features may be incomplete, change frequently, contain errors or be removed. You should not rely on beta or in-development features for critical or irreversible decisions.
14. Intellectual Property
Vedune's brand, logo, interface, software, design, original platform content and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to Vedune and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of Vedune's technology, branding or proprietary materials.
Subject to these Terms, Vedune grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.
15. Third-Party Services
Vedune may rely on third-party providers for artificial intelligence, authentication, payments, hosting, email, analytics, infrastructure and other functionality.
Some features may therefore be affected by third-party outages, limits, policy changes or technical issues outside Vedune's reasonable control.
Your use of certain third-party functionality may also be subject to the applicable provider's terms and policies.
16. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep Vedune available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Maintenance, security incidents, internet failures, provider outages, technical issues or other events may temporarily affect access.
17. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe an account is involved in fraud, misuse, security threats, serious or repeated violations of these Terms, non-payment or unlawful activity.
Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve an issue before permanent termination.
Suspension or termination does not remove rights or obligations that accrued before the action was taken.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Vedune is provided on an "as available" basis.
We do not make guarantees regarding uninterrupted operation, particular results, accuracy of AI output or suitability for every individual purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vedune will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or purely economic losses arising from use of the service where such liability may lawfully be limited.
Vedune is not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated content where independent verification would reasonably be expected.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
20. Responsibility for Violations
If your unlawful use of Vedune, violation of these Terms or infringement of another person's rights causes claims or losses, you may be responsible for those claims or losses to the extent permitted by applicable law.
21. Changes to Vedune
Vedune is an evolving product. We may update the service, tools, models, pricing, limits, interfaces or availability over time.
We will aim to communicate material changes that significantly affect paid users where reasonably appropriate.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, law, security requirements or business practices.
The updated version will display a revised "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required.
23. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable consumer-protection and other mandatory legal rights.
Before starting formal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by courts having jurisdiction under applicable Indian law.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
